What to expect?
Typically, patients will start to notice skin peeling after about 3-4 days. Peeling although not guaranteed can last up to 10-12 days on the face and neck. The treated area will feel tight and can appear slightly darker. During the first 6 hours, do not wash, touch, rub or apply makeup to the treated area.

What preparation is required before the peel?
No pre-peel preparation. You may continue on with the regular skincare regime but please avoid any retinoids 3 days prior to appointment. Those on Accutane must of stopped usage 12 months prior to treatment.
How many treatments are required for visible improvement?
After one treatment the overall skin tone and texture should improve. Depending on which skin condition you are wanting to treat, multiple treatments may be necessary for optimal results. 2-3 series of treatments will provide more desired results when targeting skin concerns like active acne and Melasma.
Are there any restrictions for who can be treated?
Unable to treat patients who are pregnant, nursing and have been on Accutane within the last 12 months. Unable to treat patients with an allergy to any of the above listed ingredients, or to aspirin. Unable to treat patients who have open wounds, sunburn, infected skin, coldsores or lesions. Patients with a history of cold sores (herpes implex) may be given an anti-viral 3 days prior to peel. Unable to treat patients who have had recent treatments such as waxing, electrolysis or chemical exfoliants. Unable to treat patients who are undergoing chemotherapy/and or radiation therapy. Unable to treat patients with a history of autoimmune disease or any condition that may weaken the immune system.
